pleasanton. police identified the victim from stockton. investigators say he killed her and he has been booked on murder charges. there are reports the victim and suspect had dated in the past. a tourist looking out a window made a discovery today. he called for help this morning after sighting a body in the water. the person was a white man in his mid-30s but deputies found no injuries or cause of death. they are working to identify that body. a woman who claims she was a victim of sex abuse calls the response to her allegations appalling. she is a university of california at berkeley swim coach. two teachers abused her when she was a teen. one committed suicide. the other pleaded guilty.

the defense says her carelessness and negligence contributed to her abuse. the district attorney plans to change the way its prosecutes some immigrants to avoid convictions that require deportation. she is instructing prosecutors to consider filing lesser charges. two more planes are joining the relief effort to help victims of superstorm sandy. ktvu's ken pritchett joins us live with how they will help. ken? >> reporter: the air force will do what it does best and that is move an incredible amount of equipment in a matter of hours. >> the large cargo planes that make the effort possible but it
